Daniel Oruwhone

Daniel paints figurative works that juxtapose classical and contemporary philosophy drawn from history and his diverse life experience; his work explores contrast and form, playing with opposites and reviving old masters' techniques to shape ideas into lyrical, dramatic pieces that combine the old and new with a sense of humor.

His work questions the viewer's perception and explores themes of sexuality and historical nostalgia.
